When I was first introduced to companies or programs to get free/discounted products in exchange for reviews, I was a bit skeptical. I have been doing it for a little while now and will keep a run of reviews here. One of the best sites to get started with is www.giveawayservice.com.

ArtColors Liquid Chalk Markers for chalkboard 12 Pack


These have a nice tip that is reversible and lays a nice line down. It does take a long time to get these started, but have nice color. The metallic colors look good to. Have used others that are not even close to metallic, these are. These are good on glass too. Kids used them on the dinner chalkboard as good decorations. Worked great and cleaned up nice.

Fits two phones and an iPad as well as a watch. I don't have a smart watch yet, but a regular watch still hangs on it nice. If phone or iPad has a case on it, it may not fit well in the slot. They are not very high ridges, but still hold it. I use an android phone and it only shows portrait lock screen, but to charge and use this it has to lay on its side. Not the best at side of bed. Build quality looks to be good.

Bluetooth is the way to go with one of these. The reach is pretty long for a small stick. Have used this to peer into birds nests built around the house to see the eggs. Connects easy and holds phone well. The side adjustment piece is a bit flimsy, but the spring loaded top grip holds well. The bonus wide angle is nice, gets a bit out of focus with it, but certainly gets everyone in the shot for a wide selfie.

Sprayed on a 2 week old coffee spill on the carpet that we had just blotted when it happened. Sprayed the area very well adn let it soak a bit. Used a small brush to work it in and then blotted dry. When I was blotting with the paper towel, it was coming up brown, so it certainly was breaking down the stain.

Perfect for using a regular HDMI cable with a unit that has a micro HDMI port. Right angle is nice for keeping it clean at the device. Would have been nice if they had at least one that went 180 of itself, some devices have an upside down port, then the cable would go up, not down. But that is not the fault of this product. The velcros are a nice bonus and are soft and easy to handle. Have seen some that are way to stiff to even use. These adapters will go in my bag of tricks for my devices and keep one at work for when someone brings in a device that needs one.

Mosquitos are not out in full force in our area just yet, only a few here and there. Wore this while doing yard work last weekend and didn't have any around me. These are nice, lightweight glasses that wrap your full head. I HATE glasses that I can see the frames off to the side. These do not have that problem. I am out on the lake all summer sailing and always wear sunglasses. One thing I noticed right away is there is a slight squeak when the frame is torqued even the slightest. Not sure if that will go away or not, but it seems like it echoes on your head. The sizing, or tension, might be a tad to small. They squeeze your head and might be a bit tight on me. That might change over time of wearing, but the field of view on these are nice and just what I was looking for. Carry case is perfect for when I throw them in my bag after racing.

Holds device well. I plan on using this on our sailboat railing to have phone out for certain apps needed on the race course. I like the different color bands included. No instructions really, so dont try to put the rubber in between the holder and the nut, have it behind the nut, tighten it, then stretch the rubber to the corners of phone. The side to side grip could be better, or smaller or tighter, but in the back rubber mesh it wont fall out.

Nice capacity backup battery. Have not tested the solar charging yet, will update after I use that. I like the multi cable that comes with, short, but perfect for holding device and battery while charging. Looks rugged enough and rubber port covers to keep dust/splashes of water out. Spritz'n Clean
Seems odd that you would spray a device, but this system works well for cleaning fingerprints and smudges off your devices. A quick spray (mist) from the unit, let sit and then wipe off with microfiber cloth (or the bag it comes in) and device is clean and sanitized.

Decent BT headset, not the best. Music playback is great sounding, calls are a bit unclear and others have a hard time hearing me. Construction is a little flimsy, battery life is good. Pairs to 2 devices, I've tried my Moto X and iPad. Wish they came with a case for travel. Not sure of long term usage, but I have used them at work for about 2 weeks now. I get a bit of drop out with it in my front pocket and I near other equipment, never had this issue with other BT devices. Tried back pocket for phone, got better but still had a few drop outs.

AutoTik Pro Tire Pressure Gauge with Tread Depth Tool and Valve Stem Caps


I applied for this product to receive for free in exchange for review, but was denied. Then I got an email to receive the product for free without a review required. I certainly would like to leave one for this company.

The product seems well made and feels good in your hand. The end that goes on the valve stem swivels. This is a major plus since you can hold the unit in your hand at any angle to see the dial while you attach it to your valve stem. Even if you don't hold it so you can see the dial, it holds your highest pressure until you press the release valve. Another bonus.
Kit comes with tread depth gauge and valve caps. I have a lot of extra caps, but these are a bonus for someone who needs an extra. The tire depth gauge works well and is easy to use on all tires. This will tell you when tread is to shallow and need to be replaced.
Both of these products are in my tool box that I will use when I do work on the vehicles.

 This seems to be a very durable case. The inner plastic shell with screen protector fits snugly. Then the back and edge rubber outer holds all tight and looks like it would hold up well under impact. I'm not going to do any drop tests, but having this on my sons iPod gives a little more assurance that it wont crack if dropped.

 This replaced another clear case that completely fell apart. Holds device snug and has buttons, not openings for buttons. I think that was the demise of the other cheap one. It is a little loose on the upper right corner, but not bad at all. Clear allows to show off the color of the ipod or place pics under it to make your own designer case.

Long reach and flexible. My son opened the package and has been using it. With it attached to nightstand, it holds the iPod at viewing angle while laying down. There are a few positions that can't hold the ipod up, but give the long unit a few twists and it holds just fine. He even hangs around neck and walks around watching videos... I know, he's crazy.
The mount holds nice and has a detachable yolk so the mount can be left while using for other areas. The clip has large jaws the hold the device well. Jaws rotate, so once you get the flexible piece situated, then you swivel the jaws to the proper viewing angle, nice bonus.

Overall, a nice unit, can't hold device at full extension , you need a few coils/bends to keep the device up.

Been using this for 4 days now. I can tell a difference in the softness now. It seemed like it took a few days to get softer, guess I have a really dry beard. The cold wether months does make skin and beard dryer, and will see how this product can keep it soft when the temps really drop. It does seem that I need to use more than what is directed to get coverage, and I don't have a large beard. But there seems like a lot in the bottle, so should last a long time.

I remember seeing these gloves in a promotion and I did apply for them. I had not heard back from the company, but the gloves showed up at my door on day. I tried to go back and find where I had requested them to leave a review, but could not find it. So I will leave it here. I am pretty sure the link above is for the company that sent the gloves, and I am 100% sure these are the gloves I received.

I am an avid barbeque-r year round. One of the things I love to do is potatoes on the grill. I have a Char-Broil Infrared grill, and it gets really hot. I place the cut potatoes in a cast iron fry pan with raised groves on bottom as the grill is warming up for the other food I will be cooking. Usually around 20 min for warm up. Then I shake the potatoes and place the other food on grill. Once that is done, then I pull the potatoes- usually around 30-40 min on the grill (on full for the side with potatoes). The pan is EXTREMELY hot at this point. I have a high temp glove (I think 400 degress rated) that I can not hold the handle of the pan to get from grill to house (grill is on lower deck). The only way to handle it is to have a pot holder wrapped around the handle then use high temp glove to carry in house.
Now onto these gloves. These are NOT high temp gloves. Just cause they say BBQ as a use, don't use them for that. I have not tried with these, but they are just leather gloves. They do have a long arm cover, which would be OK for grilling to protect your arm, if that is your thing- it's not mine.
But, these gloves are very soft. Most gloves are stiff right out of the "box" and take forever to conform to your hand and become soft. These are like that right away. I have large hands, I guess mostly XXL gloves would fit best. I usually blow out finger ends on most XL gloves. These fit pretty well. They will be used for outdoor work and such to protect my forearms.
